I have been exploring the connections between the seen and the unseen using frottage in graphite and wax.
Being in isolation due to the pandemic and moving house has made me observe more closely, what is immediately around me and the historical impact everyday objects can present.
Everything has an imprint that can be observed, but it’s that which is unseen that I work to capture and preserve.
Reflection and memory still plays a large part in my work, plus researching other artists such as Jasper John’s and Max Ernst.
More recently, I have discovered the Korean artist Do Ho Suh who is likely to influence further development of my practice in the future.

Rwyf wedi bod yn archwilio'r cysylltiadau rhwng y gweladwy a'r anweledig gan ddefnyddio ffrotais mewn graffit a chwyr. Mae bod wedi ynysu oherwydd y pandemig a symud tŷ wedi gwneud i mi arsylwi'n agosach, beth sydd yn union o'm cwmpas a'r effaith hanesyddol y gall gwrthrychau bob dydd ei chyflwyno. Mae gan bopeth argraffnod y gellir ei weld, ond rwy’n gweithio i ddal a chadw’r hyn sy’n anweledig.

Mae myfyrio a chof yn dal i chwarae rhan fawr yn fy ngwaith, yn ogystal ag ymchwilio i artistiaid eraill fel Jasper John a Max Ernst. Yn fwy diweddar, rwyf wedi darganfod yr artist o Gorea A Ho Suh sy'n debygol o ddylanwadu ar ddatblygiad pellach fy ymarfer yn y dyfodol.
